Commentary
A pre-main amplifier developed for low distortion by making full use of the solid state technology of Trio at that time.
The direct-coupled three stage amplifier circuit is used for the preamplifier.
Direct-coupled amplification has no low-frequency loss like CR-coupled amplification, and can provide sufficient amplification, so a large amount of NF can be applied and a large dynamic range can be obtained.
In addition, each unit is adjusted according to the RIAA and NAB curves, and a precise curve is realized.
A head amplifier is installed so that the MC cartridge can be used directly.
We focus on the regulation of the power supply circuit, improve the transformer, and use a large-capacity capacitor in the smoothing circuit to obtain stable low-distortion characteristics.
As a protection circuit, an automatic return type pure electronic protection circuit is mounted.
The preamp section and main amplifier section can be used independently.
The Bass and Treble tone controls can be changed one step by 2 dB.
Tone Off eliminates the slight waviness in the control flat state and provides a completely flat frequency response. In addition, you can make only one of the bass and treble active and make one of them completely flat.
Equipped with low filter, high filter and muting circuit.
