Commentary
This pre-main amplifier was developed from fundamental aspects such as construction, circuit and characteristics by returning to the starting point of how the amplifier should be based on the fundamental premise of music reproduction.
The final stage is designed with discrete power transistors to improve the drive performance at low impedance of the speakers.
The power supply section is equipped with a large transformer of 420 VA and an electrolytic capacitor of 10,000 μ Fx2.
A pure signal ground line is used to prevent distortion caused by noise from the power supply part entering the main ground line of the signal amplifier.
In this system, all the power supply ripple and various noise components are led to the speaker terminals by a dedicated ground line, and all the ground lines join together for the first time. This allows only pure signal to flow through the main ground line, which amplifies the signal, enabling pure amplification.
The insulator is a large φ 60 insulator with a special foamed rubber on the floor contact surface.
In addition, a new structure has been adopted for the contact surface between the insulator and the set bottom, and a unique double anti-vibration structure has been adopted to reduce vibration from the outside.
In order to prevent the vibration of the power transformer and power transistor from adversely affecting the printed circuit board, we have replaced the method of directly mounting the power transistor and heat sink with a unique PCB logical floating structure.
Equipped with a source direct circuit that bypasses the tone control, balance control, subsonic filter, etc.
