Commentary
This is a pre-main amplifier with more complete details.
Rigorous listening tests are conducted not only in Japan but also in Europe to improve sound field reproducibility.
A relay selector is adopted in the input selector section, and six inert gas filled relays are used.
It is placed close to the signal input to reduce adjacent interference between signals.
A pure signal ground line is used, in which power supply ripple and various noise components are led to the speaker terminal by a dedicated ground line, and all ground lines join together for the first time.
In this way, only a pure signal flows through the main ground line, enabling pure amplification.
Logical flow construction along the signal flow is adopted.
Equipped with a source direct switch to minimize the signal path.
A large speaker terminal that can be connected to a banana terminal is used.
Equipped with a phono equalizer amplifier that can be used with MM/MC cartridges.
In addition to ON/OFF of power, UP/DOWN of volume, MUTING, input switching, etc., a CD player, cassette deck and tuner can be operated with one remote control Kenwood's synchronous connection terminal (with XS mark).
