Commentary
Pre-main amplifier that uses DLD (dynamic linear drive) circuit.
The DLD circuit consists of two amplifiers at the output, a low-power amplifier and a high-power amplifier. Most of the signal is processed by a low-level amplifier with a distortion factor of 0.001% or less. This low-level amplifier can handle up to 50W. Since this amplifier is driven by a power supply that can handle more than 100W, the impedance of the power supply can be reduced, and excellent characteristics are obtained without being affected by the load fluctuation of the speaker.
In addition, the high-power amplifier generates little heat and generates almost no internal loss because it is only for a very short moment when the peak signal passes through. The KA-2200 is also equipped with a dynamic power supply with a powerful power supply that delivers instantaneous power of 230W at 8 Ω, 340W at 4 Ω, and 430W at 2 Ω.
In addition, a Σ drive system is adopted to improve the performance at the input terminal of the speaker.
This method maintains a low distortion factor of 0.003% at the input terminal of the speaker.
A multi-feed system is adopted to suppress interference between circuits in each stage.
A 2-transformer multi-feed system is adopted in which the power supply winding for the equalizer, the power supply winding for the control amplifier, and the power supply winding for the power amplifier are independently provided.
Especially for power amplifiers, Chemicon of 12000 μ F/50WVx2 and 12000 μ F/91WVx2 is used.
It is equipped with a fader touch volume. You can fade in and fade out simply by lightly touching the fader if you set the volume that you normally use with the volume knob.
For MC and MM cartridges, we have adopted a unique dual-head equalizer amplifier that completely replaces the differential circuit and NF element of the input section.
By having a dedicated circuit, the performance of each cartridge is brought out.
