Commentary

A pre-main amplifier that uses Super DLD (Dynamic Linear Drive) circuit.

The Super DLD circuit is equipped with a newly developed supercharger and makes full use of the four power supply circuits of the DLD to form a powerful power supply.
As a result, the power supply capacity is always the mixed value of the four power supplies at any output. When driven by a low-power amplifier capable of handling up to approximately 50W, it is equivalent to using a conventional 300W-class power supply and realizes clear and deep bass sound.

We have developed and adopted a unique equalizer amplifier that completely replaces the differential circuit and NF element of the input section for both MC cartridge and MM cartridge.
This makes it possible to display the performance of each cartridge as an MC exclusive cartridge for MC playback and as an MM exclusive cartridge for MM playback.

In addition to the eight input channels, an adapter IN-OUT jack is also provided for direct connection of graphic equalizers, etc.
In addition, it is equipped with a CD direct switch which passes each contact switch and balance volume with one switch. By simplifying the signal path, the sound of CD is reproduced more faithfully.

While maintaining the design concept of the Σ drive installed in the L-02A, etc., it adopts the Σ drive TypeB with a 2-wire speaker cord in pursuit of usability.
By applying an NF loop from the amplifier to the speaker terminal, all parts that were previously outside the NF loop, such as the impedance of the pattern and wiring material, the phase compensation coil, the contact point of the relay and the speaker changeover switch, etc., are incorporated into the loop, and the performance at the output terminal of the amplifier is improved.
In addition, all GND lines are concentrated at one point on the speaker terminal of the amplifier to prevent the increase of mutual interference caused by the pattern of GND line and thin material.

The tone control is NF-CR type of Kenwood system.
The loudness control can be switched between 3 dB, 6 dB and 9 dB at 30 Hz, 60 Hz and 90 Hz respectively.
