Commentary
A speaker system that uses a triple rhombic grid.
A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The material and shape of the diaphragm, edge, damper, etc. are pursued with the aim of low distortion rate reproduction. It is a long travel woofer with low fo and achieves low sound reproduction without distortion.
A horn type tweeter with a Mylar diaphragm is used for the high range.
It is also equipped with a level control for high frequencies.
The enclosure has a layout that takes into consideration mutual interference between units, and a triple diamond grid is used in the front.
This grating has a large window in order not to disturb the sound field of the tweeter. By placing the tweeter in the center of the window, diffraction of high sound range by the grating is suppressed.
Also, by changing the thickness of the units constituting the grating, the resonance of the grating itself is damped, preventing the grating resonance from adversely affecting the sound quality of the speakers.
