Commentary

A CD transport that uses the VSRD mechanism in the mechanism part.

The mechanism part is equipped with a unique Vib-Free Rigid Disc Clamping System (VRDS).
The VRDS mechanism uses a clamper to press the disc onto a high-precision turntable with the same diameter as the disc and a delicate taper angle. The clamper forces the disc to warp and distort, and completely eliminates vibration and resonance when the disc rotates. In addition, the pickup set at the same angle as the taper angle of the turntable enables pit reading at the center of the pickup optical axis.
The turntable is directly driven by a high-precision spindle motor.

The VRDS-T1 uses green-dyed modified polyphenylene oxide for its turntable, which has excellent dynamic balance and dimensional accuracy and is less susceptible to scattered light. The bridge supporting this uses a composite structure that covers the entire bridge base with high-performance lower plastic elastomer with thick reinforced rib structure excellent in earthquake resistance. The motor mounting plate is doubled to strengthen the motor housing.
The entire turntable is equipped with a dedicated sub-chassis to attenuate vibration modes and achieve a clock frequency accuracy level 1.

The main and rear chassis are copper plated to eliminate electrical interference.
The body has a double top plate structure with a top panel in the lower layer of the bonnet. Cushioning material is arranged between the top plates, and this is fixed to the chassis by 6 points.
The chassis body has been disassembled into 8 blocks and adopted separate block construction. In addition to the front and rear chassis connected to oC, a center chassis dedicated to the eye is installed. It is assembled into a bottom chassis connected to sub-panels via two mechanical / floating sub-chassis in the front and rear. The center chassis directly connected to the front and rear panels has a beam structure, contributing to greater rigidity of the body as a whole.

It is equipped with functions such as random memory program and delete program, music skip, 4-mode repeat, auto-fader, 3-mode time counter, auto-space, index search, music search and timer play.

Wireless remote control is included.
