Commentary
Cassette deck equipped with CA (cobalt amorphous) head and dbx.
The head is equipped with a CA head with a 13-layer laminate structure that is approximately four times larger than the conventional SENDUST head, and has improved MOL and flat high-frequency characteristics due to excellent magnetic properties.
In addition, the CA head has improved abrasion resistance without grain boundary peeling, and the deterioration of characteristics is minimized even after long-term use.
As a noise reduction system, dbxNR is installed in addition to Dolby B/C NR.
With dbx, the dynamic range of the input signal is compressed to 1/2 in decibels, recorded, and expanded twice during playback, reducing the tape hissing by 30 to 40 dB, while at the same time providing a dynamic range of 110 dB beyond the limit of cassette tapes.
In addition, it is equipped with dbxDISC position where you can listen to dbx records.
Equipped with CPS (Computomatic Program Search).
With this function, you can skip up to 15 songs in both forward and backward directions and search for the song you want to listen to.
Equipped with a block repeat function.
In block repeat, playback and rewind are automatically repeated between blocks that have been switched by Start M (emory) and Stop M.
Equipped with an auto tape selector, the type of tape (Normal, CrO2, Metal) is automatically detected just by attaching the cassette to the holder, and the bias and EQ circuit are automatically set.
Equipped with 4-digit LED tape counter.
This counter is a multi-counter type and functions as a tape running timer with the Mode switch to indicate tape running in minutes and seconds. Also, the designated music number is clearly indicated during CPS operation.
The level meter uses a 13-dot full-scale peak level meter in two colors, green and red.
The Bias Fine feature allows you to maximize the quality of your tape.
Equipped with a 2-color multi-action indicator to clearly indicate recording / regenerating condition.
Equipped with the Rec Mute function, a silent space of approximately 4.5 seconds can be set.
Equipped with a 100 mm long scale input fader.
Half-under control knob type is used for the output volume to prevent malfunction.
It uses one push recording and works just by pressing the REC button.
Equipped with timer standby mechanism for both Rec and Play.
