Commentary
A cassette deck with some functions omitted from the V 530 x.
In the V-430X, the noise reduction system Dolby C NR is omitted, and some operation functions and LED counter are changed.
The head is equipped with a CA head with a 13-layer laminate structure that is approximately four times larger than the conventional SENDUST head, and has improved MOL and flat high-frequency characteristics due to excellent magnetic properties.
In addition, the CA head has improved abrasion resistance without grain boundary peeling, and the deterioration of characteristics is minimized even after long-term use.
As a noise reduction system, it is equipped with dbxNR in addition to Dolby B NR.
With dbx, the dynamic range of the input signal is compressed to 1/2 in decibels, recorded, and expanded twice during playback, reducing the tape hissing by 30 to 40 dB, while at the same time providing a dynamic range of 110 dB beyond the limit of cassette tapes.
In addition, it is equipped with dbxDISC position where you can listen to dbx records.
Equipped with a memory stop function, you can rewind to counter 000 and stop.
Equipped with a program skip function.
Use the Play and Fast Forward / Rewind buttons to quickly search for the beginning of the song you are listening to or the beginning of the next song. You can also use it as an intro check by pressing each song.
Equipped with an auto tape selector, the type of tape (Normal, CrO2, Metal) is automatically detected just by attaching the cassette to the holder, and the bias and EQ circuit are automatically set.
The level meter uses a 13-dot full-scale peak level meter in two colors, green and red.
Equipped with a 2-color multi-action indicator to clearly indicate recording / regenerating condition.
Equipped with the Rec Mute function, a silent space of approximately 4.5 seconds can be set.
Equipped with a 100 mm long scale input fader.
Half-under control knob type is used for the output volume to prevent malfunction.
It uses one push recording and works just by pressing the REC button.
Equipped with timer standby mechanism for both Rec and Play.
