Commentary

This portable cassette recorder was developed based on advanced data recorder technology.

The direct capstan system, in which a coreless DC motor controlled by a PLL servomechanism is directly connected to the capstan, eliminates the weak point of the flywheel for the portable type.
Since coreless DC motors have extremely low inertia and high starting torque, they can start up quickly. Moreover, the servo can respond quickly to high-frequency disturbances up to the flutter range. In addition, there is almost no cocking, and the use of a precious metal brush gives a very long life.

The mechanism section uses a PLL servo DC motor for constant speed running and a mechanical governor DC motor for quick winding.

A limiter is installed to prevent distortion caused by excessive input.

Equipped with a Dolby system that can reduce tape hiss.

Equipped with a microphone attenuator capable of 3-stage switching (0, 15, 30 dB).

The VU meter uses an external magnetic VU meter with excellent vibration resistance.
In addition, the VU meter is equipped with a lamp. Press the Light button to light the meter and turn it to the right to lock it. In order to prevent battery depletion, the lamp is designed to be placed in the store only during constant speed driving (play or rec play).

A 9 cm diameter monitor speaker is built in.

Built-in auto end stop mechanism that automatically releases the mechanism and turns off the power when the tape finishes winding.

Equipped with a battery check function to check the battery life.

A mechanical pose mechanism is adopted.

Equipped with a microphone / line input switching mechanism.

Comes with a shoulder belt and AC adapter (PA-2).
