Commentary
Tape deck with crystal control mechanism.
The main capstan on the right side is directly driven by a quartz-locked direct drive motor so that accurate rotational speed is maintained without being affected by changes in temperature, voltage, frequency, etc.
The frequency of the crystal oscillator is used to maintain the stability of the recording bias.
The stability of the crystal is purchased for the detection part of the tension servo for a long time, and the normal set tension is always applied to the tape.
Synchronous LSI logic control with clock circuit is adopted to realize accurate mechanism operation.
Stop button with electromagnetic brake and mechanical brake is adopted.
The mechanism uses a dual capstan system, and two sets of capstan and pinch rollers firmly hold the tape and drive it.
Equipped with a complete tension servo mechanism to keep the tape tension constant.
Uses a semi-fixed head made of high-hardness permalloy with improved mounting accuracy.
Equipped with NAB/BTS equalizer switching mechanism.
Uses a full-track erasing head.
Equipped with L/R identical catalogue sound mode switch.
Equipped with a bias equalizer adjustment mechanism built into the OSC.
It is equipped with a tape monitor switch with a CAL position.
Equipped with LED linear counter of minute and second display.
Equipped with pitch control function that can be varied by ± 6%.
Dbx unit RX-10 can be connected.
