The D/A converter was announced as a sister machine inheriting the technology of D-1.

In order to greatly improve the D/A conversion accuracy, a unique NewZD circuit is mounted. By adding and subtracting dither signals, the conversion errors of the D/A converter are reduced and the accuracy is improved.
The newly developed fully adjustable automatic subtraction circuit realizes stable D/A conversion that is resistant to changes in the external environment and aging.

By the ZD circuit, the offset voltage of the D/A converter is canceled simultaneously with the subtraction of the dither signal after the D/A conversion. Therefore, the conversion from 0 Hz to full DC is realized only by correcting the offset voltage of the rear stage amplifier slightly, and the ultra-wide band reproduction of 0 Hz to 20 kHz is realized.
By eliminating the need for analog transmission coupling capacitors and DC-servo circuits, distortion and phase shift are eliminated and a high-fidelity transmission system is constructed.

It features a full-time 18-bit D / A converter and an 18-bit 4 x oversampling digital filter for high-quality digital signal reproduction.
As a result, analog conversion with high precision gradation of 16 bit 4-double precision and 262,144 stages is possible.

The digital input is compatible with the sampling frequency of not only CD but also BS tuner and DAT. In order to be compatible with this three mode sampling frequency, a clean clock circuit with high precision comparable to quartz is adopted.
As a result, the lithium tantalate VCO, which has Q (vibration coefficient) one digit higher than that of LC oscillation, can extract an extremely accurate clock and is compatible with 3-mode operation.

The power supply uses a large-capacity transformer with a core size of 100 VA class.
In addition, a very thick power cord with polarity display is used.

The chassis uses a 2-box double chassis to suppress internal interference and eliminate vibration.
The digital and analog sections are each housed in a single box and are laid out independently on the inner chassis as an electrically complete isolation structure.
The chassis uses a compact high-rigid tune with a strong combination of thick aluminum front panel and inner chassis for effective dispersion and damping of natural vibrations.
In addition, it is a special alloy heavy-weight insulator with high damping effect.

The internal wiring uses ESC-OCC with excellent transmission efficiency, and the circuit configuration is simple and straight.
The analog and digital OFC bus bars provide extremely low impedance between input and output, enabling high-quality transmission.

Coaxial cable for digital exclusive use made by Van den Hull is included.
