Commentary
200 series integrated amplifier which was upgraded from AS-200.
By adopting a full-scale differential amplifier circuit using a double power supply system, capacitors are eliminated from the output circuit, and transient characteristics in the low-frequency range are improved.
Special consideration is given to the design of the I/O circuit for the tape deck, and it is possible to record on two tape decks simultaneously.
The preamp section uses carefully selected FET with good noise figure, and stable operation is possible regardless of impedance change or input size.
The phono amplifier uses a new 3-stage direct connection circuit of NPN-PNP-NPN with good voltage utilization factor.
The volume section uses a 4-channel volume, and the SN ratio is improved at both low and high volume levels by installing double volumes at the front and back of the preamplifier including the tone control.
The tone control uses a highly accurate 3-dB-step switching method to eliminate channel imbalance.
Muting relay is used to prevent shock sound when power is turned on.
