Commentary
This is Japan's first stereo power amplifier equipped with a differential amplifier.
In order to ensure a wide dynamic range and stability at very low frequencies, we have adopted the DC and differential amplifiers used in the servo devices of TEAC computers and data recorders.
As a result of incorporating a double power supply of + 40 v ~ 0 ~ -40V using a power transformer with a margin in the power supply part, movement of DC operating point caused by excessive input, fluctuation of power supply voltage and deterioration of transistor is eliminated, and it is automatically corrected to 0.
As a result, the response performance for instantaneous board input is improved.
A circuit breaker is attached to the output terminal of each channel to protect the power transistor from excessive current caused by shorting of the output terminal or speaker cord or misconnection.
This breaker is delayed with a certain time constant and is designed so that it does not operate with only a transient pulse sound.
The power transistor is mounted on an aluminum extrusion heat sinker to improve the heat radiation effect.
Equipped with a single left / right phase selector switch for easy switching.
Equipped with a balance check switch.
If you test the switch with a mono source on both channels, the left and right speakers can be connected in series and adjusted easily because the sound is the lowest when properly balanced.
The volume is a 2-axis, 2-continuous volume, and the balance between channels can be adjusted independently.
