Commentary

The ES Series FM/AM Stereo Tuner pursues both high-level reception performance and audio characteristics.

Equipped with newly developed active selection mode.
In this mode, you can check the condition of the radio wave you want to receive and automatically set the reception mode suitable for the station. If you are receiving a station with a frequency adjacent to an FM station with a large transmission power, you can set up a station that is difficult to listen to due to a slight mistake in the setting, or a station that you could not listen to by simply tuning, so you can receive a beautiful sound more easily.

An advanced reception circuit is installed to reduce the influence of high frequency circuits.
In this circuit, a PLL circuit with a crystal oscillator as the main device is also enclosed in a shield case, and the inside of the shield case is finely divided into individual blocks to prevent interference between the blocks. This increases interference resistance and enables FM listening with less noise.

Radial power supply is used for the power supply system.
In this system, the power supply section (rectifier circuit) is installed at the center of the rear of the board, and each block is arranged so as to surround the power supply section in the crescentic direction. As a result, the power supply section and each circuit are connected to each other in the shortest possible time, and the ground reference point is also provided in the power supply section, thus realizing an advantageous layout for sound quality.

Equipped with the Super Area Call function, the preset operation can be performed simply by selecting the prefecture name of the area to be used. The preset is automatically performed by picking up the stations which can be received in the area. The preset can be up to 30 FM/AM random stations.
The frequency and station name are stored in advance. You can display the station name in addition to the frequency on the FL display. When a new station is established, you can also preset it manually.

Equipped with a menu entry system, preset stations can be replaced or deleted according to your preference.

Compatible with AM stereo broadcast transmission.
The ST-SA50ES, the frequency band of the AM stereo is made wider, and you can enjoy sound with a higher high-fidelity feeling.

Audio of VHS1-3 channels can be received.

A 3m long loop antenna with a shielded cable is attached to the antenna for AM reception.

It is equipped with a detection output terminal, and by connecting the text display unit CTD-S100 (sold separately), you can enjoy the text information of FM text multiplex broadcasting.
