An FM stereo tuner developed with the aim of achieving a total balance with excellent reception performance, audio characteristics, audibility, functionality, and operability.

To take advantage of the Sony CG Varicon, a mixer circuit using a dual gate MOS FET and a local oscillation circuit via a buffer amplifier are mounted.
As a result, a high scale accuracy can be obtained over the entire band of the receiving frequency, and the occurrence of spurious interference is suppressed.

The front-end section is composed of a quad loop tune circuit that employs a 7-row CG varicon, ensuring an excellent ability to eliminate image interference and various spurious interferences.

The IF stage employs a uniphase filter with excellent group delay characteristics to achieve both high selectivity and low distortion factor.
In addition, it is equipped with an automatic switching function between Normal and Narrow depending on the strength of the radio wave.

PLL IC is used in the MPX part, so that it is hardly affected by temperature, humidity and aging variation and maintains stable characteristics.

It has a built-in Cal Tone circuit that makes it easy to set the recording reference level of the deck VU meter.

A reed relay is used for muting, and it eliminates pop noise during detuning and inter-station noise during tuning.

It is equipped with a high-blend circuit that cuts out noise without losing stereo sense.

Equipped with two output terminals, Fixed and Variable.

Equipped with signal / multipath meter and F-type connector for 75 Ω coaxial cable.
