Commentary
FM/AM tuner that employs an accurate servo lock mechanism.
Equipped with an acute servo lock mechanism that was developed with the main goal of easily selecting the lowest tuning point accurately and obtaining stable tuning. While watching the LED indicator, the system receives the desired station at the point of the optimum tuning point (minimum distortion rate, best separation) and locks it firmly to maintain stable reception.
Tuning (locking) is indicated by the green LED and the red LEDs arranged on both sides of the green LED. When the green LED lights up, it is the optimum tuning point for accurate servo lock.
The front end is equipped with 4-row dual-gate MOS FET to enhance the interference rejection capability.
In addition, the SN ratio has been improved by adopting a newly developed Quadrature detection transformer.
A uniphase filter is mounted on the IF stage and a PLL-IC is mounted on the MPX part.
Equipped with a CAL-TONE circuit, 5-segment LED signal indicator and muting level High/Low switching switch.
