Commentary
FM/AM tuner designed for easy listening to FM broadcasts.
The FM is used in the FM front-end section to obtain excellent intermodulation and interference rejection characteristics.
In addition, it has good sensitivity and is compatible with multi-station FM.
The IF stage of the FM IF uses a solid state filter that is stable and has good selectivity and bandwidth characteristics, resulting in excellent stereo distortion and stereo separation characteristics.
A new approach has been introduced to the gain distribution of each stage, so that there is little noise (inter-station noise) at the time of FM detuning, and station selection can be done as comfortably as with muting.
The coil of the multiplex circuit is made into a block to suppress secular change.
The AM circuit is designed to be completely separate from the FM circuit.
A solid-state filter is also adopted in the IF stage of the AM to realize reception with less interference.
The built-in bar antenna for AM reception is a rotary type, which avoids noise and enables reception with high sensitivity.
The output terminal is equipped with 2 systems of fixed output and variable output.
