ES series FM stereo tuner.

The front end section consists of two high-frequency amplification stages.
A four stage tuning circuit using a five row varicon made of steatite for precise measuring instrument has been constructed to realize a circuit with excellent interference signal rejection characteristics.

Equipped with a newly developed CDs-type RF attenuator.
CDs, an electric-optical-electric conversion element, has been applied for the first time to an FM tuner. Since this element is a perfectly linear resistive element, there is no cause of intermodulation, and there is no degradation of various characteristics even in a strong electric field of 3 V, so it can receive stably.
At the same time, a bandpass filter for the FM band and eliminates interference from other TV channels.

The 8-stage double-tuning selection circuit ensures sufficient transmission bandwidth of 300 kHz pass band and 500 kHz disk bandwidth while maintaining the characteristic of 60 dB effective selectivity of ± 400 kHz.
In addition, the AM component is eliminated by applying a 3-step symmetrical diode limiter.

A 16 kHz low-pass filter is used to suppress interference of 19 kHz and 38 kHz.

A stabilizing circuit is used for all power supply circuits for each stage, and a Zener diode is used for OSC for further stabilization.

A two meter configuration consisting of a tuner input meter and a tuning meter is adopted.

Uses CDs-type muting circuit.

CDs type stereo / mono automatic switching circuit is adopted.

Equipped with a high blend switch.

There were wooden case and mounting bracket case as an option sold separately.
