Commentary
A speaker system that employs an Ultra Linear Magnetic Path (ULM) magnetic circuit that improves distortion caused by the magnetic circuit.
In ULM speakers, a notch is formed in the center of the center pole and thick copper plating or copper cap is added to the notch to eliminate the nonlinear distortion of the magnetic material.
We have also studied heat resistance and mechanical strength, adopted a newly developed special alloy resin adhesive, and used a metal bobbin for the woofer to raise the allowable input.

The cone paper is made from carefully selected Scandinavian pulp using Sony's Sony's original paper manufacturing technology. We have also discovered that abnormal noise is radiated at two to three times the upper limit frequency and at an extremely high level due to abnormal vibration of the voice coil bobbin, voice coil bobbin and cone joint. We have also adopted a dust-proof cap that provides a significant sound insulation effect to prevent abnormal noise radiation.
In addition, the edge is molded by applying a special thin rubber to the cloth and applying an airtight treatment. This eliminates the valley that tends to occur near 400 Hz.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The network section has a large air-core coil with low DC resistance and does not distort even at large input.
The tweeter is equipped with a continuously variable level control.
The enclosure uses a bass-reflex structure with 20 mm thick hard particle board.
