Commentary
A speaker system that employs an Ultra Linear Magnetic Path (ULM) magnetic circuit that improves distortion caused by the magnetic circuit.
It is equipped with a 20 cm cone woofer in the low range and a 6.5 cm cone tweeter in the high range.
The ULM speaker has a notch in the center of the center pole a notch in the center of the center pole and adding thick copper plating or copper cap to the notch.
We have also studied heat resistance and mechanical strength, adopted a newly developed special alloy resin adhesive, and used a metal bobbin for the woofer to raise the allowable input.
The corn paper is made from carefully selected Northern European pulp using Sony's unique papermaking technology.
In addition, we discovered that abnormal noise of voice coil bobbins, voice coil bobbin-cone joints, and other components radiate extremely high levels of abnormal sound in a band two to three times the upper limit frequency. We use a dust-proof cap that provides a large sound insulation effect to prevent the emission of abnormal sound.
The edge is made of cloth with a special thin rubber that has been applied for airtight treatment and molded.
This eliminates the valley that tends to occur near 400 Hz.
In addition, high-purity imported copper foil processed with special resin is used for the lead wire to improve durability.
The network section has a large air-core coil with low DC resistance and does not distort even at large input.
