Commentary
This is the first compact speaker system to incorporate the flat diaphragm used in an APM speaker into a compact system.
170 cm in the lower range2Flat Woofer, 9 cm range2Equipped with a planar tweeter.
An aluminum honeycomb diaphragm is used for the diaphragm. The honeycomb structure, which is also used as the body material of aircraft and Shinkansen, realizes high rigidity, which greatly expands the piston motion band and suppresses split vibration.
In addition, the Woofer unit uses a high-linearity damper to improve low-frequency playback.
The enclosure is a bass-reflex structure using a slit-type duct.
