SONY SS-G33
¥ 64,000 (1 set of 2, released in 1991)
Commentary
A speaker system that inherits the technology of the high-end model SS-G55 and is condensed into a more compact design.
It has a 16 cm cone woofer in the low range and an 8 cm cone midrange in the middle range.
The vibration plates of these units are made of cone paper, which is stronger than conventional paper by using special laminate technology, in pursuit of more powerful sound.
A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of bio-cellulose, which is one thousandth of the fine natural fiber of paper fiber. It has the same internal loss as paper, and the sound propagation speed is as high as aluminum. It is an excellent material for diaphragm. This increases the reproducibility of ニャンス and hall tone.
It is a magnetic resistant design.
The enclosure uses a time alignment system in which the sound source position of each unit is arranged on the same plane by providing a step by curved surface processing, which improves sound image localization and sound field feeling while maintaining good directional characteristics.
There was a speaker stand sold separately.
