Commentary

The AL series speaker system was developed jointly with Alflex Co.

A 13 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm uses Kevlar. This material is woven with lightweight fiber material to increase strength and is impregnated with a very small amount of resin to obtain airtightness.
In addition, a large magnet with a diameter of 80 mm is used for the magnetic circuit. By driving a light diaphragm with a strong magnetic circuit, the initial motion sensitivity is increased and the reproducibility of sound is increased.

A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
In order to increase the initial motion sensitivity of this unit, magnetic fluid is enclosed in the magnetic circuit. This makes the voice coil easy to move and works to suppress unnecessary movement so that the operation is more faithful to the input signal. In addition, the magnetic fluid makes the magnetic force easy to flow, which has the same effect as when a larger magnet is used.
The diaphragm uses a dome-shaped diaphragm of integrally molded edge made of silk material and the finish coating is done by hand.

It is a magnetic resistant design.

A large wire diameter is used for the coil in the network section to reduce DC resistance and increase initial motion sensitivity. A high-quality film condenser with excellent sound quality is also used for the condenser.
The parts are directly connected without wiring patterns on the board, and are mounted with cushioning material to reduce the effect of vibration.

Taking advantage of Alflex's advanced wood processing technology, the enclosure features curved baffle plates and rounded sides that allow for natural diffraction of sound.
The board is made of a combination of highly rigid laminated plywood with a maximum thickness of 32 mm, which is approximately twice the thickness of the panels normally used in this class, and MDF, which is highly evaluated for sound quality. In addition to the high rigidity, delicate tuning is applied to the interior beams and reinforcing materials so that it has an appropriate sound quality.
The exterior is finished one by one through more than 10 processes, and it is also perfect as an interior decoration.

The rear terminal supports bi-wiring.
