Commentary

Based on SS-A5, this is a matured two way speaker system that further deepens acoustic sound reproduction.
Taking over the SS-A7 technology, we have further strengthened the magnetic circuit of the enclosure and woofer to improve the quality of the bass sound.

A 20 cm cone type woofer made of high-density pulp is mounted in the low range.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of biocellulose, a fiber produced by a bacterium called Acetobacter. It is very thin (more than 10 microns). It is light but has a very thin fiber structure of about 1/1000 of paper. It has a sound propagation speed of about 3 times that of paper. It has the same sound velocity as aluminum. It also has a resonance sharpness of about 24, which is about 1/10 of the resonance sharpness of aluminum. Almost equivalent to that of paper.

The enclosure is designed with a time alignment system that produces realistic sound localization and natural sound field feeling by mounting the speaker unit with the sound source aligned in a Yonematsu plywood baffle.
In addition, natural birch material is used for the enclosure to give a natural sound.
