Commentary

The top-of-the-line speaker system in the RBOCON series.

CARBOCON, a newly developed carbon-fiber mixed corn paper, is used for the diaphragm of each unit.
In this diaphragm, carbon fiber is mixed with natural pulp material to reduce weight, increase rigidity, and suppress resonance sharpness.
In addition, the voice coil uses a synthetic resin adhesive with particularly high heat resistance to improve the input resistance.

A 30 cm cone type woofer with a balanced drive system is installed in the low range.
The balance drive system focuses on the drive point for the cone paper. By attaching a voice coil to the position where the mass balance of the cone paper is balanced and driving it, the motion of the cone paper easily follows the input signal, further expanding the piston motor cortex range.
In addition, in general, the rigidity near the edge of the cone paper is weak and tends to cause split vibration. To improve this, an R-shaped rib is provided on the outer periphery of the cone paper, which contributes to high rigidity and expansion of piston motor cortex area.
The magnetic circuit also employs a newly developed low-distortion magnetic circuit with four layers of short voice coil wound on silicon steel plate.

Mid-range with 4 cm domed mid-range
Low distortion rate is achieved by using pure iron (sufficiently annealed) in the magnetic circuit.

A 2 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
Low distortion factor is realized by using Permendur for the magnetic circuit.

The network uses silicon-steel core coils and Mylar capacitors to reduce distortion and loss.
It is also equipped with a continuously variable attenuator that can be adjusted according to the acoustic characteristics of the room.

High-grade beech plywood of 30 cm is used for the enclosure, and the weight of the enclosure alone is approximately 30 kg.
In addition, it uses the tall boy type considering the space factor, and in addition, the woofer is laid out upward so that the low range does not become boumie even if it is placed on the floor.
Also, when there is a reflective object on the side of the unit, it becomes a cavity effect and adversely affects sound quality. Therefore, a grill net with an open armpit is used.
