Commentary

A floor-type speaker system developed with the aim of realizing the true value of SACD and reproducing high-quality sound from conventional sources.

Two 20 cm cone woofers in the low range, a 13 cm cone midrange in the middle range, and a 2.5 cm soft dome tweeter in the high range.
Each unit has a diaphragm made of polypropylene. Each unit has a short ring that dramatically improves the sense of distortion. In addition, high linearity and low distortion are achieved at high output by adopting a long voice coil and a magnetic circuit with high magnetic flux distribution symmetry and high heat radiation effect.

A 2.5 cm hard dome type super tweeter is installed in the super high range.
This unit uses light-weight and highly rigid carbon-graphite composite for the diaphragm, and uses an electromagnetic induction unit for the magnetic circuit that realizes flat impedance characteristics even in the ultra-high frequency band, thereby realizing the ultra-high frequency band characteristics that have never been seen before.
The unit is housed in a spherical housing that reduces the diffraction effect of sound, reducing sound turbidity and improving low-level reproducibility.
In order to facilitate setting of the super tweeter with sharp directivity, it is equipped with a high-precision angle adjustment function of the grade used for optical equipment.

The network is a -24dB/oct type with a reduced number of parts and a simple structure, and the highest grade parts are used carefully to minimize loss of music information.
In addition, the network board made of glass-epoxy printed with twice the usual copper foil is installed by a new mounting method with a high damping effect, eliminating the influence of vibrations inside the enclosure.

A slant minimum baffle and a slant minimum enclosure are used for the enclosure. This minimizes the area of the baffle and reduces the effect of the baffle. At the same time, the sound emitted from each unit reaches the listening point at the same time with high precision. This improves the sound connection and resolution between units.
The baffle plate has a structure in which damping material is sandwiched between two pieces of MDF to prevent the vibration of the unit from being transmitted to the enclosure. In addition, by eliminating the parallel face of the enclosure, the generation of standing wave inside is suppressed and coloring of sound in a specific band is eliminated.
