Commentary
Active subwoofer with newly developed units.
The unit is equipped with newly developed 30 cm cone type woofer.
This unit is equipped with a 2-mm-thick diaphragm, which is more than eight times stronger than conventional same class units. It also features a 32 mm-wide special rubber edge, a 156 mm-diameter large magnet for a powerful magnetic circuit, and a long-stroke voice coil for excellent bass reproduction.
The internal circuit uses high-sound parts and a power amplifier with a large transformer. In addition, the high-speed MFB circuit improves low-frequency reproduction.
The enclosure uses the advanced SAW method, an improvement of the SAW method. In addition to the conventional structure in which the unit is mounted on the internal sub-baffle and the sound is emitted from the duct, a radiator is installed in the front baffle to prevent the delay of sound. This makes it possible to achieve both good response and heavy bass reproduction.
In addition, 25-mm-thick particleboards are used for the enclosure material. In particular, the front baffle is made 45 mm thick by attaching two plates together to increase the strength, reduce vibration and improve resolution.
Equipped with a phase selector switch.
Equipped with an auto power ON/OFF function that turns the power on in conjunction with signal input.
Gold plated pin jack terminal is used for the input terminal.
