Commentary
This is a stereo tape recorder that can record and play back stereo from one unit.
The cabinet cover of the TC-200 is divided into two parts and each part can be used as a speaker.
Stereo playback is possible by removing the lid and installing it symmetrically.
It is compatible with 4-track 2-channel stereo, which is the standard format for stereo tapes. It has built-in pre-amplifier and main amplifier for both recording and playback, so you can record with microphone and play back with speaker by itself.
It is also capable of long-duration monaural recording.
All idler system of 1-motor configuration is adopted for the mechanism part.
It has a sound-on-sound function and can be used simultaneously by making one channel for playback and two channels for recording (or vice versa).
This makes it possible for one person to record tricks such as double or triple recitation.
The public address feature lets you listen to the sound you are recording through your speakers.
It can also be used as a loudspeaker device for a microphone or record player without running a tape.
Equipped with DIN standard connector.
The head amplifier uses a transistor in the first stage of the preamplifier for both recording and playback to eliminate noise such as howling and hum.
Two new dynamic microphones are included.
Equipped with 8 mm flash for synchronization.
The line output and speaker output jacks are common, and can be switched with a switch on the control panel.
Equipped with a temporary stop device.
Equipped with a tape counter, level meter and tone control.
