Commentary

A cassette recorder with built-in condenser microphone that was introduced as a successor to the TC-50.

The condenser microphone used for professional use has been miniaturized by the development of electret special polymer film and incorporated into a tape recorder.

Anti-rolling mechanism is adopted.
This mechanism consists of a large flywheel directly connected to the capstan shaft, which feeds the tape at a constant speed, and another flywheel of the same size. The belt from the motor rotates the tape in opposite directions to cancel each other even when a shock occurs from the outside. This eliminates the effect on the tape speed that affects uneven sound.

The drive motor is equipped with a small servo motor.
An electronic circuit automatically controls the rotation speed of the motor. When the motor rotates too fast, the voltage is lowered. When the motor rotates too slowly, the voltage is raised to maintain the correct rotation speed.

The simple structure of buttons and levers is adopted for the operation part.
Press the rewind / cue button with the control lever set to STOP to rewind. Press this button during playback to increase the playback speed and cue is possible. Also, press the record button and pull the control lever to start recording.

Uses a 4-power supply system and can be used with batteries, rechargeable batteries (sold separately), car batteries (sold separately), and AC adapters.
The included AC adapter can be used as a stand and automatically switches from battery to AC power by simply plugging it in. The adapter can also be used to charge rechargeable batteries (BP-22).
The battery case is one touch removable and can be replaced smoothly with spare batteries. Also, the battery is of the same standard as the separately sold rechargeable battery (BP-22) and can be used simply by replacing.

It is equipped with an end alarm, and when the tape runs out during recording, an alarm sound is emitted from the speaker to notify the end of the tape.

Equipped with a hand strap.

A 6.6 cm round speaker is used for the speaker part.

Equipped with monitor jack, microphone jack and remote control jack.

There are 4 variations of body color, and you can choose black, red, ash and beige.
