A/B deck Reference double reverse deck capable of simultaneous recording and continuous recording.

Sony's proprietary Super Bias method improves sound quality during double-speed dubbing.
In conventional double-speed dubbing, a high-frequency music signal of 20 kHz is changed to a high-frequency music signal of 40 kHz, which is double the frequency of the bias signal (105 kHz). Therefore, the frequency characteristics of the high-frequency range cannot be extended due to beat disturbance.
In TC-WR930, this problem is solved by setting the bias frequency to double the conventional one (210 kHz).

An amorphous alloy with excellent magnetic properties is used for the core material, and an LC-OFC wound laser amorphous recording / re-head is mounted, which uses LC-OFC for the coil winding. By using LC-OFC, distortion due to capacitive reactance is suppressed and sound quality is improved.

Simultaneous recording of A/B deck that can make 2 volumes of tape at one time is possible.

The double deck has a Oatley berth function, and both decks have a recording function. Therefore, after recording the A side and B side of the tape on the A deck, you can automatically move to the recording on the B deck. This enables long-time continuous recording of two volumes of tape.

Equipped with double-speed dubbing function.

By repeating reverse playback of A deck → reverse playback of B deck, repeat playback up to 5 consecutive times, you can play for 15 hours continuously using C-90 tape.

The combination of auto-pause mechanism and AMS (automatic music sensor) installed on the A deck allows quick editing operations from music selection to recording.
