Commentary

Twin recording re-reverse deck with Dolby HX Pro and Dolby B/C NR independently mounted on A/B deck.
It has almost the same configuration as the previous model, TC-WR790.

By installing Dolby NR independently, it is possible to record 2 tapes simultaneously with different Dolby NR.

Both the A and B decks have a 2-motor configuration that uses motors for the reel and capstan respectively.

The head uses a hard permalloy re-recording head.

It is equipped with a twin FL digital counter and a peak level meter with peak value display of music signal and peak hold function.

Equipped with Dolby HX Pro, the effective bias amount is controlled to the optimum value in 1/1000 second unit to prevent over-bias and improve linearity in the high frequency range.
Also, Dolby HX Pro works only when recording, so recorded tapes are effective when played on any deck.

CD synchronized recording is possible by combining with Sony remote control compatible CD player.

It is equipped with a multi-AMS function that can quickly cue up to 30 songs before and after.

It is equipped with the Auto Space REC MUTE function. When you press the REC MUTE button during recording or recording pause, it automatically records silence for approximately four seconds, sends the tape for that amount, and pauses.

Wireless remote control is included.
