Commentary
Twin reverse cassette deck inheriting the sound quality oriented design of TC-WR950.
The recording and reproducing head of the B deck is equipped with a laser amorphous head with improved sound quality by adopting LC-OFC winding.
In order to improve sound quality during high-speed dubbing, we have adopted a super bias system in which the bias frequency is set to 210 kHz, which is twice that of conventional systems.
It is equipped with an auto standby function. If you operate the A deck during normal speed dubbing, the B deck can be set to the recording pause state automatically. This allows you to edit and record while skipping or selecting unnecessary songs.
It is equipped with an auto pause function. When dubbing at normal speed, the A deck stops at the end of each song and the B deck is in the recording pause state. This allows you to edit the tape while selecting each song.
Equipped with a blank skip function that automatically fast-forwards when there is no signal for approximately 10 seconds or more during playback and starts playback from the beginning of the next song.
In addition, it is equipped with an AMS function that can quickly start the song being played or the next song.
In addition to normal speed, synchronized dubbing at high speed is possible.
Equipped with a direction mode switch, you can choose from three modes : single-sided recording / playback, double-sided 1-cycle recording / playback, or double-sided 1-cycle recording / playback.
Continuous repeat playback is also possible using the relay operation of the A/B deck when double-sided 1-cycle recording / continuous cycle playback is selected.
It uses a twin lock cassette holding mechanism that firmly fixes the cassette half and stabilizes the tape travel.
The B deck has a quick reverse function.
Equipped with Dolby NR B-C type.
The A deck has an auto tape selector, and the B deck has a manual tape selector.
A/B deck independent tape operation indicator is mounted.
Equipped with 12-segment x 2-channel LCD peak level meter.
Timer sold separately allows recording of absence and alarm clock playback.
It can be played in sync with Sony record players and CD players.
