Commentary
This cassette deck was developed exclusively for volunteers and can be used widely for making sound recording books, including Braille libraries nationwide.
It was developed based on the request for commercialization and planning by the National Council of Braille libraries.
The tape speed for recording and playback can be switched from the standard 4.8cm/s to the half-speed 2.4cm/s, which is convenient for producing and monitoring recorded books. Recording and playback at 2.4cm/s makes it possible to double the recording time of cassette tapes and halve the number of tapes required.
Equipped with auto-calibration, it automatically performs two functions in a short time : bias calibration to adjust the bias value for each tape used during recording, and level calibration to reduce the level difference between recording and playback due to the difference in tape sensitivity.
Equipped with a playback speed control function, you can continuously control the tape speed during playback in the range of 0% to + 100% (2 times).
Built-in sound autofocus allows the microcomputer to determine the appropriate recording level for each type of tape and automatically control the recording level.
* This cassette deck supports monaural input. Metal tape cannot be used.
