Commentary
The first newly developed cassette deck, a stereo cassette deck equipped with a multi-functional LCD peak program meter.
It is equipped with a double indication type LCD peak program meter that can perform level check and peak hold simultaneously. There are two types of peak hold settings : Manual, which indicates the maximum value up to that point, and Auto, which resets automatically every approximately 1.7 seconds.
An F & F head is used for the recording / reproducing head, and the direct coupling of the reproducing amplifier eliminates the deterioration of sound quality caused by capacitors.
A green motor (FG servo motor) is used for the capstan, and a high-torque motor is used for quick winding.
Equipped with a 3-stage switching tape selector independent of bias and equalizer.
Equipped with a memory stop / play mechanism convenient for repeated playback of program source.
It is equipped with a Dolby NR system that improves the high-frequency dynamic range and an MPX filter that cuts the pilot signal of FM broadcasting.
Equipped with a Rec Mute mechanism that allows one touch silent recording.
It is possible to follow up recording which is convenient for editing.
Line and microphone mixing is possible.
Equipped with lineout and headphone independent volume.
Equipped with front line in jack.
Equipped with Sony Limiter.
Uses an auto shut-off mechanism.
By using the separately sold program timer, continuous absence recording and alarm clock playback are possible.
Separately sold wired remote control allows remote operation.
