Commentary
This is a linear skating type cassette deck that utilizes the concept of the 88 series, a high-class lineup, and carefully examines the amplifier circuit and components.
It uses a linear skating system. With a dedicated coreless motor, the cassette compartment gently slides out to the front by just lightly touching the button. It can be operated while it is out.
Reliability has been improved by integrating the running and rotating systems more precisely and compactly, and a safety mechanism has been incorporated to prevent malfunction when the cassette is not fully loaded.
The head uses an S & F head that also supports metal tape.
The tape selector has four independent bias / equalizer stages with metal position (Type-IV).
BSL Green Motor is directly driven by crystal lock and magnedisk servo.
In addition, a simple mechanism is realized by a 3-motor configuration that uses dedicated BSL green motors for rewind and fast forward respectively.
Equipped with a multifunctional LCD peak program meter with a function to display the remaining amount of tape.
If it is C-60 type, 1 element displays the remaining amount in about 1 minute unit.
It is equipped with an automatic music sensor that skips the unrecorded part and searches for the beginning of the song.
Equipped with Rec Mute with auto space.
Equipped with newly developed Dolby NRIC.
Continuous recording is possible.
Separately sold wired remote control allows remote operation.
