Commentary
This is a metal tape-compatible cassette deck that uses a computer reverse that makes full use of electronic technology to realize a quick reverse in about one second.
It is equipped with a computer rebus that detects the head of the leader tape by light and the microcomputer makes logical judgment of the signal and sends the repetitive signal to the mechanism. The inverted signal is shortened to about one second and reliability is also improved.
In addition, you can select one direction or one round trip by the direction mode selector, and it is possible to repeat five round trips during playback.
It employs a rotobilateral system in which the head rotates 180 ° according to the direction of travel. The track of the tape and the core of the head are on the same channel in both directions, thus achieving uniform recording and playback characteristics in both directions.
We have also adopted a new mechanism reverse head that combines an erase head and a read / write head into one block.
An s & F head compatible with metal tape is used for the recording / reproducing head.
Logical control is adopted.
The Dolby NR Complete IC has been adopted, which reduces the variation in characteristics by condensing the Dolby circuit into one IC, eliminating the changeover switch for recording and reproducing and reducing the number of parts.
