Commentary
A cassette deck equipped with an F & F head and frequency control servo motor with FG.
It consists of two motors : a frequency control type servo motor with FG and a high torque motor for quick winding (FF/REW).
An F & F head is used for the head, and the characteristics are improved by directly coupling the head to the preamplifier.
Adopts feather touch operation by logical control.
Equipped with Dolby NR system and MPX filter.
Equipped with a 3-step switching tape selector with independent equalizer and bias.
It uses a soft eject that opens the cassette lid smoothly with an air damper.
Equipped with a memory stop / memory play function.
Equipped with Rec Mute function.
By connecting a timer (sold separately), you can record your absence or play an alarm clock.
Equipped with Sony Limiter recording function.
Equipped with large VU meter and peak level indicator.
Equipped with auto shut-off mechanism.
Microphone and line mixing is possible.
Line-out volume and headphone volume are installed independently.
A stereo line-in jack is mounted on the front panel.
There were 2 kinds of variations, TC-K7 with silver finish and TC-K7B with gun metallic finish.
It can be operated from a remote place by using the wired remote control sold separately.
