Commentary
A 3-head cassette deck equipped with Dolby HX PRO.
It is a 3-head configuration that adopts a laser amorphous head using LC-OFC winding for the head.
It is equipped with Dolby HX Pro, and by controlling the effective bias amount in 1/1000 second unit, the bias amount is always kept appropriate, and linearity of high frequency is improved.
Unlike noise reduction, this system works only during recording, so tapes recorded with Dolby HX Pro can be very useful even when played on a deck that does not have Dolby HX Pro.
It employs a super-bias that greatly increases the bias frequency. By expanding the frequency difference with the music signal, distortion generation is suppressed, and resolution in the high-frequency range is improved.
It is equipped with a linear electronic counter by FL tube which is also equipped with a subtraction function in minute second display.
It is also equipped with a 24-segment peak program meter that displays real-time peak and peak hold simultaneously.
Equipped with MPX filter that can be turned ON/OFF. This function operates only when Dolby NR is ON.
It is equipped with a bias fine tuning function that can fine tune the recording bias value within ± 20%.
Equipped with Dolby NR / B-C type.
Equipped with TypeI/II/IV auto tape selector.
It has a gold plated headphone terminal with volume.
It is equipped with an AMS function that you can find the beginning of the previous or next song.
It is equipped with a blank skip function that fast-forwards to the beginning of the next song when there is a non-recording part for more than 10 seconds.
It is equipped with a music scan function that plays the head of a song every few seconds.
Auto Play and Memory Stop / Play are available.
The timer (sold separately) allows continuous recording and alarm clock playback.
Equipped with Rec Mute function with auto space.
Uses a soft eject mechanism.
The wireless remote control allows for most tape operations and allows for synchronized recording with a Sony remote-controlled CD player without requiring a special connection.
