Commentary
A cassette deck with a 70 mm panel height slimmer realized by S & F tiny head and small BSL green motor.
The motor uses a BSL motor that realizes miniaturization by using a samarium-cobalt magnet with a strong magnetic force. The capstan is directly driven without a complicated transmission mechanism.
In addition, the rotation speed is maintained with high precision by quartz lock servo.
The S & F head combines the high saturation magnetic flux density of SENDUST with the high-frequency characteristics of ferrite. In addition, the S & F head achieves a thickness of 8.4 mm to achieve a panel height of 70 mm.
The amplifier circuit employs a DC amplifier configuration that prevents deterioration of sound quality caused by capacitors.
The power supply section also uses ± 2 power supply system by FET buffer amplifier.
As a noise reduction system, Dolby NR is installed.
The TC-FX7 uses a highly reliable Dolby NR Complete IC in which Dolby NR circuits are condensed into one.
Equipped with a Rec Mute mechanism with auto space that can easily make a blank between songs.
Equipped with autoplay / memory play function.
Equipped with a timer standby mechanism that can be used in combination with a separately sold timer for continuous absence recording and alarm clock playback.
Equipped with a double indication peak program meter that simultaneously displays peak hold and instantaneous peak values, and with tape type markers that make it easier to adjust the recording level depending on the type of tape.
Equipped with 4-stage tape selector with simultaneous switching of bias and equalizer.
There are Type-I (norm), Type-II (CrO2), Type-III (Fe-Cr) -Cr), and Type-IV (Metal). The lamp lights to indicate the position currently in use.
Equipped with a 100 mm width long stroke slide Rec volume.
It is equipped with a linear electronic counter that displays running time in minutes and seconds.
Remote control with optional wireless remote control or wired remote control.
In addition, a separately sold synchronized remote control unit enables synchronized play with Sony's remote control compatible player system.
