Commentary
A stereo cassette deck with Dolby NR / C type.
As a noise reduction system, in addition to Dolby NR / B type, Dolby NR / C type is equipped.
The Dolby NR / C Type has a starting frequency of approximately 180 Hz, which was approximately 460 Hz in the B type. It is designed to reduce noise by 20 dB with a gentle curve. In addition, this frequency is not fixed at a single point, but is variably increased according to the level of the input signal, using a sliding band method. This suppresses the bleeding phenomenon that tends to appear when the amount of noise improvement increases.
The built-in anti-Dolby circuit effectively improves the saturation level of the tape by recording a high input signal at a low level and amplifying it during playback to restore it to the original level, contrary to the normal saturation operation.
Equipped with a digital linear electronic counter that displays the running time of the tape.
It is equipped with three functions : a memory function to remember the position of counter 00, an AMS (automatic music sensor) to easily find the beginning of your favorite music, and a repeat function for repeated performance. By combining these functions, various playback methods are possible.
Equipped with a double indication system Longs scale peak program meter.
It is equipped with 100 mm long stroke slide Rec volume.
A metal tape-compatible S & F head is used for the recording / reproducing head, and a 4-gap F & F head is used for the erasing head.
BSL Green Motor and DC High Torque Motor are used.
The resonance is also reduced by deadening the flywheel.
Equipped with MPX filter.
Equipped with 4-stage tape selector with simultaneous switching of bias and equalizer.
The direct coupling between the playback amplifier and the head eliminates the deterioration of sound quality caused by capacitors.
It has a dedicated headphone volume.
Equipped with Rec Mute function with auto space.
The timer (sold separately) allows continuous recording and alarm clock playback.
Equipped with Line/Mic input automatic switching mechanism.
Use a wireless or wired remote control (sold separately) to operate from a remote location.
In addition, synchronized play is possible by using the separately sold synchronized unit.
