A stereo cassette deck capable of multi-compound play of memory, AMS and repeat.

The combination of memory, AMS, and repeat allows for a variety of autoplay.
The memory function stores the position of the counter 0 : 00 and stops or starts playback at 0 : 00 from rewind. The AMS (Automatic Music Sensor) automatically starts up to nine tracks before and after, and the repeat function allows playback up to nine times.
Since these functions are controlled by a single microcomputer, it is possible to play multiple tapes by linking them together.

It is equipped with a linear electronic counter with a subtraction function that changes to a minus display after 0 : 00 in rewinding.
In addition, it is equipped with a pre-end counter function, and when the remaining time of the tape reaches 2-3 minutes during recording, the 4-digit number on the counter flashes to indicate that the remaining time is low.

Equipped with an ever-changing signal level and a double indication type peak program meter that holds the peak value for 4 seconds.
In addition, the homegrown employee setting level indicator, which lights in conjunction with the tape selector, indicates the maximum recording level for each type of tape.

Laser amorphous head is used for the head.
Amorphous refers to an amorphous state that does not have a specific crystal structure, such as water or glass. By making a magnetic material into an amorphous state, the magnetic orientation of the crystal disappears and the magnetic properties of the material atoms can be utilized as they are. This amorphous magnetic alloy is used as a core material for magnetic heads, and by applying state-of-the-art laser processing technology, an excellent head has been realized.

As a noise reduction system, it is equipped with Dolby NR / C type.
Type C is an improved and developed version of Type B. It has about 3 times the noise reduction effect of Type B, and the noise level is reduced to 1 / 10 of that of OFF.
In addition, Dolby NR and B type are also installed to support tapes recorded with B type.

The motor is equipped with a DC servo motor with excellent rotational accuracy and stability for driving the capstan and a dedicated high torque motor for driving the reel. Reliability is enhanced by adopting a simple structure without complicated transmission mechanism.
In addition, the Capstan's flywheel is deadened to prevent resonance, which is harmful to sound.

Equipped with 4-position tape selector for simultaneous switching of bias and equalizer.

Equipped with a Rec Mute function with auto-space that automatically activates recording standby after 4 seconds of silent recording.

It is equipped with a long stroke slide Rec volume, a microphone input terminal, and a high-output headphone terminal.

By using an audio timer (sold separately), it is possible to record a continuous absence or play an alarm clock.

Remote control with optional wireless, wired and foot remote controls.
In addition, by using a separately sold synchronized remote control unit, it is possible to play synchronized with Sony's player with a remote control terminal or playback deck.
