Portable Cassette Recorder "Cassette Denske D5M" for Metal Tape
An original disk drive capstan servo is used in the mechanism section.
It consists of three components : a capstan servo control that has the same effect as a direct drive, a disk drive system that directly connects the motor shaft and the flywheel, and a small, low-power, high-torque coreless motor. Even with a small mechanism, it achieves high anti-rolling effect and high torque.
The head uses an S & F head compatible with metal tape.
We have also adopted a DC-DC converter with improved efficiency to stably supply a large bias current.
Equipped with a 4-stage tape selector that can be switched with a single switch.
Equipped with peak level indicator.
Equipped with a Sony Limiter to suppress excessive input.
Equipped with Dolby NR system.
