Commentary

This is a mini component size double reverse cassette deck with various functions.

It consists of two twin decks : the A deck for playback and the B deck for both recording and playback. Both decks have a Oatley berth mechanism.

It is equipped with a linear electronic counter that counts the tape running amount in minutes and seconds.
This counter can be used for both A and B decks by switching.

Equipped with 12-segment x 2-ch peak level meter.

Both A and B decks are equipped with an auto tape selector that automatically determines the type of tape.

Oatley Verse allows you to play a single tape over and over again.

When one deck finishes, it is possible to play a relay by making a baton touch to the other deck.

It has an AMS function that you can easily call up the head of the song you are listening to now or the next song.

If the silence continues for more than about 10 seconds, it is automatically fast-forwarded, and you can play a blank stop to find the next song.

Equipped with an autoplay function that starts playing automatically after quick winding.

It is possible to perform RMS performance in which the order of songs is programmed at random up to 16 times from 12 songs on one side of Deck A.

It is possible to play Memory Stop which stops automatically at counter 0.00 or Memory Play which starts playback at counter 0.00.

Double-sided recording is possible in which recording on one side is automatically switched to recording on the other side after recording on the other side.

Equipped with Dolby NR / B type which can record with less hissing.

It is equipped with a Rec Mute function with auto-space that makes a silent part of about 4 seconds and enters the recording pause state when pressed during recording.

It is possible to play synchronized play in which recording starts when Sony's CD player or record player starts, and when it stops, recording poses.

By using the timer (sold separately), it is possible to record your absence the alarm clock.

As for dubbing from A deck to B deck, in addition to normal speed, high speed dubbing is also possible.

When one side is finished, it is automatically reversed and continuous dubbing over both sides is possible.

When dubbing at normal speed, Deck A is equipped with an auto pause function that stops every time a song ends and Deck B waits in the recording pause state. This function allows you to edit your favorite song while selecting it.

Dubbing by RMS programming is also possible.
