Commentary
2-track, 2-channel portable stereo open reel tape recorder "Open Memory Type I".
The capstan is directly driven by a servo motor.
A low-noise FET is used in the first stage of the reproduction amplifier and the SN ratio is improved by direct coupling directly connected to the F & F head.
It uses a direct recording method that enables quick recording just by pressing and turning.
Equipped with a tape equalizer with three levels of bias (Low/Normal/High) and three levels of equalizer (Normal/SLH/Fe-Cr). You can choose the bias value and equalizer that match the tape.
The heart of the tape running system such as the head, pinch roller and capstan is made into a die-cast center base, and high accuracy and durability are obtained by making it into an integrated structure.
Equipped with a scrape filter to reduce modulation noise.
Equipped with a speed tuning control that can change the tape speed up to ± 10% during playback.
3-head configuration allows for recording and monitoring.
Equipped with a microphone attenuator with an attenuation of 20 dB.
Equipped with a Sony Limiter Switch.
Equipped with a low-cut filter.
Built-in monitor speaker.
This speaker can be turned ON/OFF, mode switching and volume adjustment.
