A 3-head tape deck planned and designed for audiophiles.
The head section uses a 3-head system in which the erasing, recording, and playback heads are independent. You can check the recording status by playing back with the playback head while recording with the recording head.
In addition, the source sound can be switched during recording.
The Sony 2-micron head, which has excellent high-frequency characteristics, is used as the reproducing head with three shields.
It uses a high bias frequency of 160 kHz to reduce distortion and noise.
In addition, silicon transistors are used for all independent amplifiers for recording and playback.
A newly developed vibration isolation type motor is adopted for the mechanism part to reduce mechanical noise.
In addition, Sony's patented Escalation Drive Mechanism lowers the pinch roller at the time of stop so that the tape can be set with one touch without damaging thin tapes.
The mechanism can be either horizontal or vertical.
Uses vibration prevention rollers to absorb micro vibrations generated at the contact surface of the tape and head.
This reduces the modulation distortion caused by vibration.
A stabilization circuit using three transistors is adopted for the power supply part to suppress the influence of fluctuations in the power supply voltage.
Equipped with a noise suppressor switch, the high-cut filter allows you to enjoy the sound that is easy to hear even on noisy tapes.
It is equipped with a binaural monitor jack which is convenient for playing and monitoring by headphone.
Sound on A dedicated volume for sound recording is mounted on the back.
Equipped with an automatic stop switch, the micro switch automatically turns off the mechanical power when the tape is finished winding.
Equipped with a 4-digit return type tape counter.
Separate recording levers for each channel enable monaural recording.
Wooden cabinet is adopted.
In addition, the cabinet can be removed and mounted on other racks or cases.
Equipped with an automatic release temporary stop device, the tape can be temporarily stopped during recording and playback.
When the operation lever is set to the stop position, the temporary stop is canceled.
Dust cover is included.
