Commentary
Tape deck developed as the easiest and most economical way to listen to stereo tapes
You can enjoy it by connecting it to the tape head terminal of your own amplifier.
With a 3-head configuration that uses dedicated heads for erasing, recording, and playback, it is possible to monitor playback during recording. The playback head uses a Sony 2-micron head.
It can operate in either vertical or horizontal position depending on the space used and operation method.
In addition, special mounting accessories are sold separately.
It has built-in automatic stop device with micro switch, and the power is automatically turned off when the tape is finished winding.
Equipped with a tape counter.
Equipped with a quick stop lever that enables quick stop during recording and playback.
Comes with a dedicated reel cap to hold the tape when used vertically.
* TC-263D does not have a built-in preamplifier for both recording and playback. For playback, a stereo amplifier with a tape head terminal (or magnetic cartridge terminal) is required. This amplifier must have an input impedance of 100k Ω or more and an input sensitivity of 1.6 mv (1 khz) or less.
A special amplifier sold separately is required for recording.
