Commentary
Stereo cassette deck with F & F (ferrite & ferrite) head.
Sony's proprietary F & F head uses ferrite not only in the core part but also in the guard part to improve the head touch of the tape and eliminate unbalanced head wear.
In addition, by using a special grinding wheel for ferrite processing, the processing accuracy is improved, and by developing and adopting high-hardness strain-free glass as a gap fusion material, the gap does not change over time and excellent abrasion resistance is realized.
It is equipped with a tape selector corresponding to Sony's Chromicassette.
Two types can be selected : the Sony Limiter recording method and the manual recording method, both of which are not distorted even by large input.
It uses a full auto-stop mechanism that releases the mechanism when the tape is finished regardless of whether it is recording / playback / fast-forward / rewind.
Equipped with a tape counter and level meter with lighting.
