Commentary
A stereo cassette deck equipped with a Dolby system.
The Dolby system reduces the noise and hissing of the tape.
Sony's original ferrite and ferrite head is used for the head.
In this head, ferrite is used not only in the core but also in the guard part to reduce factors that cause changes in frequency characteristics such as head wear, gap edge collapse, dust adhesion, etc. Moreover, abrasion resistance is approximately 200 times that of conventional heads, and head erosion is also reduced.
In addition, the black mirror finish on the surface of the head gives a stable finish even when used for a long time.
Equipped with a limiter recording method.
If the limiter switch is set to ON after manual level adjustment, the correct input will be recorded as manual recording, and the limiter circuit will operate automatically only when a large input is entered unexpectedly to prevent distortion.
It uses an auto shut-off mechanism and stops automatically when the tape finishes winding in any case of recording, playback, fast forward or rewind. The operation button and the head pinch roller automatically return to the stop position so that no unnecessary burden is placed on the mechanism or tape.
Equipped with a tape selector, a Sony Chromicassette can be used.
Equipped with a push-push pause button. If you press the pause button once, the mechanism stops temporarily, and if you press it further, it returns to the original state.
Uses a high-performance DC motor, eliminating the need for cycle switching.
A low-noise silicon transistor is used in the preamplifier to achieve low distortion and low noise.
