Commentary
This is a D. D. player system equipped with a full auto function while inheriting the technology used in high-end machines.
Front operation allows auto lead-in / auto cut / auto repeat even with dust cover closed. Switching to manual operation is also possible.
It is designed so that the mechanism is not burdened even when the tone arm is forced to stop during auto operation or the record size selector is changed.
A direct drive system using a linear BSL motor is adopted for the turntable drive system.
Because this motor does not require a brush or slot, torque unevenness is reduced, and quiet and smooth rotation is achieved. Moreover, high torque is obtained due to high efficiency, and reliability and durability are improved.
Magnedisk speed detection is used for the speed detection part of the servo circuit.
In this system, the multi-gap head detects the mean value of the detection signal, which is densely magnetized on the turntable, and captures minute changes in the rotational frequency. 33 Since the generated signal has a high frequency of approximately 284 Hz at 1/3rpm, servo compensation is possible up to relatively high frequencies of the flutter components.
Pitch control of rotational speed within ± 4% range is possible to manage rotational accuracy.
The newly developed high-sensitivity tone arm is used for the tone arm, and the MM type cartridge XL-15 is used for the cartridge.
The cabinet uses an acoustic material, SBMC, which is less likely to resonate than metals and has high precision and strength. Partial resonance is suppressed by considering the thickness and structure in a comprehensive manner and reinforcing the structure at important points.
In addition, a thick and strong dust cover has been adopted to improve vibration damping characteristics.
Gel-like dump material is enclosed in the insulator to realize effective vibration absorption.
